Five-Year Guarantee on Stonework
For patios, walkways and retaining walls, we guarantee our work for five years from the date of completion. Your retaining wall should stand straight. Your patio should not become wavy. Your walkway shouldn't sink. If there is a problem, we'll fix it.
One-Year Guarantee on Everything Else
For everything else – trees, shrubs, woodwork, etc. – we offer an unconditional one-year guarantee. If there is anything that is not to your satisfaction we will take care of it.
We Take Our Warranty Very Seriously
When we build a new patio, it is covered by a 5-year guarantee against shifting or settling.
We rarely need to do any major warranty work, but in roughly 10 to 15 percent of the patios we build, we see minor shifting that reveals itself in hairline cracks in the polysand that fills the spaces between pavers. This is considered normal in Winnipeg, within the first few years after patio, walkway or driveway construction. It's rare for cracks to appear after our 5-year warranty period because by then the ground has usually settled nicely and the surface is stable enough for the interlocking brick system to function well.
So if you see those fine cracks developing in your patio, please contact us. The sooner we can seal up the cracks, the better it is for the patio. Sometimes I hear from customers who have waited a couple of months to report cracks in their patio. They hesitate, not wanting to be a complainer, but we want you to let us know. This way we can come down, seal up the cracks so that dirt and weeds have no opportunity to get established.
