For almost 70 years, Barkman Concrete Ltd. has developed a name as an innovator and leader in precast concrete manufacturing. Originally founded in Steinbach, Manitoba, Barkman now employs more than 250 people in four different locations across North America.

Since 1948, Barkman has manufactured precast concrete products for residential and commercial installations and are regularly shipped throughout Canada, the US and other areas worldwide.

Barkman has been the local brand of choice of Winnipeggers for hardscape products, offering the most diverse, quality-tested precast concrete products in Canada. In the past decade, with a firm foundation in the Prairies, Barkman has expanded to the Western provinces and northern United States.

Barkman's product lines come in the form of pavers, slabs, landscape kits, steps, site furnishings, trenching products, agriculture products, retaining wall systems, skate parks, and other specialty products.

The company's production capacity has increased with the opening of the new Hess plant in Steinbach, currently the most technologically advanced paver plant in North America, allowing Barkman to serve the precast concrete needs of a larger customer base.
